KLM introduces all-inclusive fares
Starting on 15 January 2007, all quoted KLM fares include the cost of taxes and surcharges. This makes ticket prices clearer and more transparent, so you know exactly what to expect from the start.
KLM is introducing this change in accordance with EU regulations, which will require the travel industry to include taxes and surcharges in the prices quoted for all flights. The KLM fares themselves remain the same, and will always refer to return flights. This will allow you to know at a glance how much your ticket will cost, every time.
The only expense that will still be charged separately is reservation costs. All unavoidable costs are included in the price - in other words, costs over which you, as our customer have no choice.
Reservation costs, on the other hand, are different depending on where you book your ticket - via Internet, travel agent or phone. Here you have a choice and can influence how much you pay. Booking online via klm.cz is always the lowest, as it’s free!
The klm.cz website has been updated according to these new guidelines. The all-in prices are now quoted and immediately visible.
Note: A local departure tax is levied in a few countries. Click here for more information.
