Travel Guarantee Fund Insurance

Under Danish legislation and provided the use of this ticket is for private travel, you have the option to buy a Travel Guarantee Fund Cover. The cover applies in case the airline should fail to fulfill its obligations due to financial difficulties.

Insurance

If you wish to buy a Travel Guarantee Fund insurance to cover the loss of your ticket price, in the event of bankruptcy of the airline, please make a payment of DKK 20 per passenger. Please see below for bank details.

The Travel Guarantee Fund insurance must be bought at the same time as the purchase of the flight tickets, but is not included in the ticket fare. The request for the Travel Guarantee Fund insurance must be sent within 48 hours from the purchase of the tickets. Payment must be settled at the latest 24 hours after the sending of the Travel Guarantee Fund insurance request. If not so the insurance will not be valid and will not cover.

The payment of the Travel Guarantee Fund insurance must be done separately to the bank account, mentioned at the bottom of this page. The payment is not included in the payment of the flight ticket.
