Save time by using our handy check-in kiosks!
You no longer need to stand in line for a check-in counter and you can simply leave your baggage at a baggage drop-off point.

Check-in kiosks
Instead of checking in at a counter, you can use a self-service check-in kiosk.
Step 1
Insert your frequent flyer card, passport or credit card.
Step 2
Select your seat.
Step 3
Print out your boarding pass.
Step 4
Leave your hold baggage at the closest baggage drop-off point and walk to the gate.

You can use a check-in kiosk even if all you have to do is print out your boarding pass.
These self-service check-in kiosks are available all day at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. At other airports, the kiosks are available for at least two hours before the departure of a flight.

Check-in kiosks in the Premium Area
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has check-in kiosks and baggage drop-off points at check-in counter rows 10 and 11 that are reserved especially for the following passengers:
• Passengers travelling in KLM World Business Class or KLM Europe Select
• Platinum, Gold and Silver Flying Blue members
• SkyTeam Elite and Elite Plus members
Check-in counters
Naturally, KLM staff are always present at our check-in counters to provide you with personal service. At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, you can check in at the counters from 5:00 am on the day your flight departs.

Lounge check-in
Check-in is convenient and relaxed at our KLM Crown lounges at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Houston, Dubai and Toronto. Or when you have access to any Northwest WorldClub lounge or the Air France lounge in terminal 2D at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Dropping of hold baggage
Once you are checked in, all you have to do before departure is drop off your hold baggage at a baggage drop-off point at the airport.At most airports, you can start dropping off your baggage 2 hours before the departure of your flight.
