29 July 2010 | Can’t wait to check out an iPad? We now offer our lounge visitors the opportunity to use one at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

18 iPads in the KLM Crown lounges

    iPad

Since 23 July, the very day that the iPad was introduced in the Netherlands, our most loyal customers can try one out themselves.

During the months to come, we offer the use of 18 brand new iPads in our most exclusive environment, our KLM Crown Lounges at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

With this long-expected multi media gadget, lounge visitors can access part of our extensive inflight entertainment system – hours before they fly! Programmes offered include, for example, TV series.

Visitors can also play games, view exclusive KLM images and of course, use various apps. Time spent in the lounge will fly by even faster!

    Innovation

On an iPad you can browse the internet – including KLM.com, write an e-mail, browse through images, listen to music and read books at a tip of the finger. A large ‘multi-touch-screen’ makes it really easy to use. And because it is a light-weight device, it can be taken anywhere.

We are always looking for the latest technologies and ways to create better travel experiences. We are proud to make iPads available in our lounges, as soon as they were on the market in the Netherlands.

At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, you can find our KLM Crown Lounges near the D-pier (‘Schengen’) and near the F-pier (‘non-Schengen’).
