      Would you like to enjoy a foretaste of what’s awaiting you at your destination during your flight? On our flights between Amsterdam and Asia, you can choose our authentic Asian meals. And, thanks to our Asian language on board services and entertainment, our Asian passengers will also feel right at home.

      Flights to or from India

      Travelling from Amsterdam to Delhi or back, we will tempt you with an exquisite Indian meal, both in World Business Class and Economy Class, such as curry, with chutney, raita and oven-fresh chapati. The menu is specially developed in collaboration with chefs from the reputable Oberoi Group.

      Have a taste of India’s rich culture while you watch a Bollywood film, subtitled in English or listen to Indian radio programmes. We keep you updated on local news with our Indian newspapers and magazines on flights out of Delhi.

      Flights to or from China

      Asia on board - Chinese meal

      On all flights from Amsterdam to  Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzou, Chengdu or Hong Kong and back, we make our Chinese customers feel right at home, while offering all our passengers the best of China!

      At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
      You can check in at our self-service check-in machines with easy to use screens. The facilities are also available in Chinese. At the gate, Chinese speaking assistants are available to translate.

      Announcements and to assist you where necessary. World Business Class (and SkyTeam Elite Plus) travellers can relax with a Chinese newspaper in the lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

      On board
      Alongside Western food, we serve a delicious Chinese menu in all classes. Created in collaboration with the renowned South Beauty restaurants, our Chinese food in Economy Class is served in a fashion that is equally tasteful to the eye. At last, enjoy a fresh cup of jasmine Chinese tea to complete your meal.

      Part of our cabin crew is Chinese, which creates a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. Watch Chinese films subtitled in English, or other films subtitled or dubbed in Chinese and listen to Chinese radio programmes. The help screens of your personal entertainment system are available in the Chinese language as well. On flights out of China we offer Chinese newspapers and magazines, and hand out maps of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol written in Chinese. We also offer the EuroSky inflight magazine developed especially for our Chinese passengers.

      At the gate, our Chinese speaking assistants welcome you to answer any questions you may have. To make your transfer process as smooth as possible, self-service transfer machines with the Chinese language are available throughout the airport.

      Flights to or from Korea

      Destination Seoul! Sample the superb Korean cuisine and culture on your flight to or from Amsterdam. Our Korean staff make sure your travels run smoothly.

      At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
      At check-in, our self-service check-in machines offer the Korean language. Also, our Korean speaking assistants translate all announcements made, and help you with any questions at the gate.

      On board
      Our Korean cabin crew members welcome you on board with Korean newspapers. If you like, sit back and relax while you watch one of our films, dubbed in Korean. You can also enjoy our Korean radio programmes or pick up a copy of Wings of Europe, our Korean in-flight magazine. If you travel World Business Class, we have a comfortable pair of slippers ready for you.

      Of course you can always opt for a Western meal. But why not try some of the authentic Korean cuisine, accompanied by a cup of distinctive Korean tea? Served in all classes, your menu has been specially developed in collaboration with Yongsusan Korean Royal Cuisine restaurant. In Economy Class, we serve your meal on a specially designed meal tray.

      Arrival and transfer in Amsterdam
      Upon arrival in Amsterdam, our Korean speaking assistants will welcome you to help you with any question you may have. If you are transferring to another flight, you can use our self-service transfer machines. These are available throughout Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and are available in the Korean language.

      ‘Konnichiwa!’ As the first European airline to introduce Japanese cabin crew on board, we will make sure that all our passengers feel completely at home. Be inspired while you travel – on our flights from Amsterdam to Tokyo or Osaka, or back.

      Check in at our easy to use self-service check-in machines – in Japanese if you prefer. At the gate, Japanese speaking assistants are pleased to help you where needed.

      On board
      Our Japanese and Dutch crew members welcome you to the land of the rising sun. In World Business Class, be extra comfortable with a pair of easy slippers in addition to your regular amenity kit. In all classes, Japanese films (subtitled in English) or other language films subtitled or dubbed in Japanese, keep you entertained during your flight. Listen to audio programmes or stay up-to-date with our Japanese newspapers and EuroSky, our Japanese in-flight magazine on flights out of Japan.

      Do not miss our mouth watering Japanese food! Your meal, created by top chef Akira Oshima of the excellent Japanese restaurant Yamazato in Hotel Okura Amsterdam, is complemented by a cup of traditional tea, served in an elegant Japanese teapot.
      In World Business Class, dine in style with chinaware designed by Noritake, the famous Japanese tableware manufacturer. You can also enjoy a cup of Japanese sake or Oolong tea.
