Checked baggage
The following items are forbidden to be carried in the cargo hold of a passenger aircraft under European Union directives.
- Explosives, including detonators, fuses, grenades, mines and explosives;
- Gases: propane, butane;
- Flammable liquids, including gasoline, methanol;
- Flammable solids and reactive substances, including magnesium, firelighters, fireworks, flares;
- Oxidizers and organic peroxides, including bleach, car body repair kits;
- Toxic or infectious substances, including rat poison, infected blood;
- Radioactive material, including medicinal or commercial isotopes;
- Corrosives, including mercury, vehicle batteries;
- Meat, meat products, milk and dairy products. For more information regarding the products, please refer to the official regulations and exceptions
- Vehicle fuel system components which have contained fuel.
Lithium batteries unless installed in an electronic device. Spare lithium batteries may only be carried in hand baggage.

Hand baggage
The following items are forbidden to be carried in the passenger cabin of an aircraft under European Union directives.
- Liquids, gels and substances contained in spray cans may be included as hand baggage but only in small quantities of no more than 100 ml. per item. For more information regarding these products, please refer to: the detailed description of regulations and exceptions
- Meat, meat products, milk and dairy products. For more information regarding these products, please refer to: the official regulations and exceptions
- Any object with which a projectile can be fired, with which injury can be inflicted, or which looks as if it could be used for such a purpose, examples being firearms and lighters. For a complete listing, please refer to: the listing of all firearms and guns
- Instruments with which injury can be inflicted such as axes, knives and golf clubs. For a complete listing, please refer to: the listing of all weapons including blunt and sharp instruments
- Items and substances that could endanger the health of the passengers and crew or the safety of the aircraft such as ammunition and toxic substances. For a complete listing, please refer to the listing of all explosives and flammable, chemical and toxic substances.
Restrictions apply to the carriage of spare lithium batteries in hand baggage:
Spare lithium batteries such as laptop & DVD player rechargeable batteries and lithium metal AA style batteries, are allowed in HAND BAGGAGE ONLY. Make sure to place each spare battery in its own protective case. If that case is not available anymore, place tape across the battery's contacts to isolate terminals, and place each battery separately in a plastic bag or package.
