17 December 2009 | As of now, you can opt for an Economy Class seat with extra comfort on intercontinental flights.

    Space and comfort

    New ‘Economy Comfort’-zone

Our new Economy Comfort zone offers you extra legroom (up to 86-89 cm/34-35 inch) and more recline (15-18 cm/6-7 inch). What’s more, the zone is located in the front of the aircraft, so upon arrival you’ll be among the first to be on your way. The service in the Economy Comfort zone is the same as in Economy Class.

    More choice

With the introduction of the Economy Comfort zone, we give you more to choose from, on your intercontinental flight. The zone is an addition to our seats with extra legroom and seats in a row of just 2. The price for a seat in the Economy Comfort zone is from EUR 80 to 150 per one way, depending on the duration of the flight.

    Arrange it now

From 90 days until 1 hour before departure, you can easily arrange your seat in the Economy Comfort zone on all intercontinental KLM operated flights. Buy yours in time, because the amount of seats in the Economy Comfort zone is limited.

    Flying Blue advantage

If you are a Platinum Flying Blue member, or if you travel on a fully flexible Economy ticket, you pay nothing extra for an Economy Comfort seat. Flying Blue Gold members and SkyTeam Elite Plus members of our partner airlines receive a 50% discount. Flying Blue Silver members pay 25% less.
