Delta Air Lines to Offer Arrivals Facility at YOTEL, Heathrow Terminal 4
4 June 2010 | Delta Air Lines is teaming up with YOTEL at Heathrow's Terminal 4 to offer arrivals facilities to premium passengers arriving on its services from the United States. The arrivals lounge facility is available to Delta, Air France and KLM passengers travelling in BusinessElite on Delta-operated flights, as well as Diamond and Platinum SkyMiles Medallion members and Flying Blue elite members.
Eligible passengers arriving into London Heathrow on Delta flights from Atlanta , New York -JFK, Minneapolis or Detroit , will be able to freshen up in one of YOTEL's cabins
These feature a bathroom with monsoon rain shower, a dedicated work area with free WiFi, a flat screen TV, and rest area with handmade organic beds. YOTEL is situated in the arrivals area of Terminal 4 on the mezzanine level.
We are already offering a good night's sleep to London thanks to our full flat bed seats, but our premium travellers expect the convenience of an arrivals facility after a long-haul flight, commented Armin Venencie, Delta's regional sales director for the UK , Ireland and Scandinavia . Delta recently announced that in partnership with Air France KLM it will add an additional daily flight between London-Heathrow and New York-JFK, effective 20 September 2010. The extra flight will expand Delta's service to the world's leading business market to three times daily on a year-round basis. Delta's flights to and from London Heathrow are operated using dedicated Boeing 767-400ER aircraft featuring Delta's new full-flat beds in BusinessElite.
