A larger assortment of entertainment aboard your aircraft
During the next few months, we will be updating and making a considerable increase in the assortment of personal entertainment available aboard our international flights. Starting in September, in addition to our usual entertainment consisting of the best films, TV series, documentaries, music and games, you can also make use of four new programs. In both World Business Class and Economy Class, audio books, language courses, an ‘About Your Flight’ program, and a business program will be introduced. The musical choices in the jukebox will be increased by additional categories and more CDs.
Seats in both classes will also offer the use of text messaging and e-mail services during the flight. To acquaint you with these services, you can send and receive text messages and e-mails at no additional cost during August, September and October.
The four new programs we will be offering during intercontinental flights are in addition to the existing entertainment programs.
The beginners’ courses in 23 languages are programs in the Berlitz World Traveler series. You engage in exercises, tests and games given in your own language to learn the language of your choice. At the end of every lesson, you receive a report mark.
Audio books
Because audio books are becoming increasingly popular, and we would like to make your trip as comfortable as possible, we will start offering three audio books, spoken in English, in September. Even during your flight, you can already be enjoying a great book simply by listening. The number of audio books made available will also increase during the upcoming period.
Everything about flying
This program explains all the aspects of flight such as how an aircraft flies, how the take-off and landing procedures work, and what turbulence is.
Business program
The new ‘B-wise’ program is primarily intended for international business travellers. It provides background information about the complex world of global business and addresses aspects of culture, business customs and protocol in various countries.
