Save time by using our convenient self-service check-in machines
At Kotoka International Airport in Accra check-in takes place via the full service counters. Between 26th October and 28th March, check-in for the flight between Accra and Amsterdam opens at 16:00 hours and closes at 20:30 hours. During this period, only passengers in the queue will be dealt with after 20:30 hours. Between 29th March and 25th October, check-in will open at 15:00 hours and close at 19:30 hours. During this period, only passengers in the queue will be dealt with after 19:30 hours, no new passengers will be allowed to queue after that time. KLM has to be strict on this to avoid delays of the flight. At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol passengers can save time by using our convenient self-service check-in machines. At Schiphol we offer three options at the airport to meet every traveler’s needs:
Self-service machines
Avoid the crowds and try our easy-to-use check-in machines. Just insert your frequent flyer card, passport or credit card and within seconds you will be on your way to the gate with your boarding pass and the seat of your choice. Baggage drop-off points are conveniently located nearby for your checked baggage. At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, self-service check-in is available all day long. At other airports, check-in machines are available two hours before scheduled departure (and in many cases earlier). At Schiphol, check-in row 9 features self-service machines and baggage drop-off points exclusively for passengers traveling in KLM World Business Class or KLM Europe Select as well as Flying Blue Platinum, Gold and Silver cardholders. SkyTeam Elite and Elite Plus members may also use this priority row. Check-in machines are currently available at: Amsterdam, Athens, Copenhagen, Eindhoven, London Heathrow, Rotterdam, Vancouver, Vienna and all US destinations.
Full-service counters
Of course, KLM agents are standing by as always at our check-in desks to offer any personalized assistance you may require. Check-in for your flight opens two hours before scheduled departure. At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, check-in opens at 6:00am for all flights that day.
Lounge check-in
You can also check in comfortably and quietly in our KLM Crown Lounges at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Houston and Toronto.
