Manston, Kent's International Airport is located near the seaside town of Ramsgate and will be KLM's 14th destination in the UK. From 3 April 2013 we will fly twice a week with a Fokker 70 to the South East of England. Kent is also known as the Garden of England for its green landscapes and numerous gardens. Historical castles and a unique coastal landscape also await you. Canterbury is only 25 miles away from Manston and the centre of London is less than two hours away by car.

Ålesund, Norway

Ålesund will be the seventh KLM destination in Norway. From 4 April 2013 we will fly twice a day (Saturdays once) with a Fokker 70. Ålesund is built entirely in Art Nouveau style and has been called the most beautiful city in Norway. It is located right at the entrance to the Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is a paradise for hikers, anglers and nature lovers. Ålesund also has attractive museums and annual events such as the Ålesund theatre festival, Ålesund Boat Festival and the Norwegian Gourmet Festival.

Fukuoka, Japan

From 3 April 2013 KLM will fly to Fukuoka in Japan. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays a Boeing 777-200 will fly from Amsterdam to the largest city on the island of Kyushu. This makes KLM the only airline to offer non-stop flights from Europe to Fukuoka. The port city is located in the southwest of Japan and is the economic hub of the Kyushu region with about 16 million inhabitants. Rich in cultural and historical sites, the destination is also interesting for tourists.

Harare, Zimbabwe

Since 29 October 2012 KLM has been flying three times a week to Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. Flights are operated on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays with an Airbus A330-200 and KLM offers the fastest connection to Harare from Bremen, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Cologne/Bonn, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart. The city is located about 1,500 metres above sea level and is the economic and cultural centre of Zimbabwe. Its attractions include the Victoria Falls and the Lake Kariba. Hwange National Park is one of the most important wildlife reserves in Africa with its huge herds of elephant and buffalo, zebras, giraffes and many other animals.

Lusaka, Zambia

On 15 May 2012 KLM started offering three flights a week to Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, with an Airbus A330-200. Lusaka is the country’s economic and political centre and, covering an area of about 70 square kilometres, one of the fastest growing cities in Africa. Zambia is rich in mineral resources, especially copper and cobalt. In addition to the numerous national parks, well known tourist attractions include the Victoria Falls and Lake Tanganyika.
