Ticket price before booking
On KLM.com, we always offer you first the lowest priced fare type available for a specific flight. During booking, you can change the fare type to one with more benefits and conditions (for example, more flexibility to change your travel dates). This may result in a higher ticket price.
Also included in the ticket price are various taxes and surcharges:

Ticketing Fees
A ticketing fee is charged for issueing a KLM ticket, the amount of which depends upon the reservation method. The cheapest option is to make a reservation via www.klm.co.jp, where the fee is free. Booking your flight by phone via KLM Reservations costs 2000JPY per ticket for Economy Class and 10000JPY per ticket for Business Class. In short, it pays to use www.klm.co.jp to book your flight!

Carrier-imposed international surcharge
