Ticketing Fees
A ticketing fee is charged for issueing a KLM ticket, the amount of which depends upon the reservation method. The cheapest option is to make a reservation via www.klm.co.jp, where the fee is free. Booking your flight by phone via KLM Reservations costs 2000JPY per ticket for Economy Class and 10000JPY per ticket for Business Class. In short, it pays to use www.klm.co.jp to book your flight!

*These Ticketing Fees are applicable to child fare tickets also.

Fuel Surcharge
Please find current fuel surcharge information.
Target fare :All Except: an infant under 2 years old not using a seat, train sectors.
Payment:Fuel surcharge is added to Insurance surcharge (YR). YR fee is 800YEN per coupon/flight.
Counter measure for the fuel price change:The price is based on the Kerosene-Jet fuel Singapore price. When the most recent three-month average of Kerosene-Jet fuel Singapore price is lower than prices listed in the following table, we will apply for the approval to the related Governments and revise fuel surcharge as below, for ticket issued from the month after the next. When the most recent three-month average of fuel price is lower than USD45/barrel, we will apply for the approval to related Governments and discontinue fuel surcharge for ticket issued from the month after the next.
*There is no adjustment (collection/refund) even YR changes after ticket purchase.
Security surcharge
The security surcharge amounts to 800JPY per segment flown and is levied for insurance and security measures. Insurance premiums have risen considerably in conjunction with the increased risk of terrorist attacks. In addition, structural security measures are still being implemented in various processes onboard and at airports. The amount of this security surcharge will be included in fuel surcharge amount in price specification.
Airport Tax at Schiphol
The total airport tax for flights departing from Schiphol is EUR 28.00 . This
figure includes the following surcharges, which KLM has to transfer to
Schiphol Airport:
- security surcharge EUR 12.95
- passenger surcharge EUR 14.66
- noise surcharge EUR 2.00
These surcharges are added together as one amount in the ticket in Japanese Yen.
Airport Tax at destination airports
All airports charge airport taxes on airline tickets. The exact amount depends on the destination, and is detailed separately in the total price of the ticket.
