Fuel Surcharge - KLM flights

With the price of aircraft fuel being both high and volatile, KLM Worldwide has been forced to add a fuel surcharge for all tickets which will be issued after (including) 01March, 2005 

< Applicable fuel surcharge as from 01 April 2007> 

Fuel surcharge:

5,700 YEN per international flight departing from Japanese airports or other intercontinental flights.

2,200　YEN par flight in EU.

Target fare   :All Except: an infant under 2 years old not using a seat. 

Applicable from:1 April, 2007

Payment       :Fuel surcharge is added to Insurance surcharge (YR). YR fee is 800YEN per coupon.

Counter measure for the fuel price change:

The price is based on the price of Singapore Kerosene Jet fuel announced at AM10:00 on every 10th of the month or the next business day when 10th is holiday/Sat/Sun. When fuel price is lower than the price on 10th during 30 business days continuously after the date, we will apply for the approval to the related Governments and revise fuel surcharge as below, for ticket issued from the month after. When fuel price is lower than USD43/barrel during 30 business days continuously after the date, we will apply for the approval to related Governments and discontinue fuel surcharge for ticket issued from the month after the next.
