Choose your seat
On all KLM flights you can choose and change your seat until 48 hours before departure:
- When booking on KLM.com
- Via My Trip
From 30 hours before departure, you can choose or change your seat on any KLM flight:
- When checking in online at KLM.com (from 24 hours before departure for flights to and from the United States)
- At a self-service machine at the airport
On our seat maps, some seats will be reserved for passengers with special needs such as parents with babies or physically challenged passengers. If you log in as a Flying Blue Elite or Elite Plus member, you have a wider choice of seats.
We can’t always guarantee your choice, but we’ll do our very best!
If you are flying with one of our airline partners for all or part of your journey, you may not be able to select your seat online prior to departure. See the website for the airline in question.

Would you love to stretch your legs, or have more personal space? Book a seat in the Economy Comfort zone, a seat with extra legroom or a preferred seat.
