KLM offers three options at the airport to meet every traveler’s needs:

Airport self-service check-in machines

Open: At least 2 hours before scheduled departure (in many cases earlier) 
Close: 30 minutes (Europe) or 60 minutes (intercontinental) before scheduled departure 

Note: At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, check-in machines are available anytime on the day of departure 

Baggage drop-off points are located nearby for your checked baggage.

At Schiphol, check-in row 10 and 11 features self-service machines and baggage drop-off points exclusively for passengers traveling in KLM World Business Class or KLM Europe Select as well as Flying Blue Platinum, Gold and Silver cardholders. SkyTeam Elite and Elite Plus members may also use this priority row. 

Self-service check-in machines are currently available at: 
Amsterdam, Athens, Berlijn Tegel (Air France), Bordeaux (Air France), Dusseldorf, Frankfurt (Air France), Genève, Helsinki, Humberside, Kopenhagen, Londen Heathrow, Lyon (Air France), Manchester, Marseille (Air France), Moskou, Munchen (Air France), Newcastle, Nice (Air France), Oslo, Parijs Charles de Gaulle (Air France), Rome Fiumicino, Sandefjord, Stavanger, Toulouse (Air France), Vancouver, Wenen, Zurich and all US destinations.

Note: At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, check-in opens at 5:00am for all flights that day. The check-in machines are available at all times. Check the KLM web site for check-in desks at other airports.
