28 September 2013 | Celebrate a Dutch feast with us on your KLM flight from Amsterdam this autumn.
From Holland with love
Travelling with KLM this October and November? You can count on receiving our usual Dutch warm welcome on board. But, these months we’ll add in a lot of ‘gezelligheid’ (typical Dutch ‘cosiness’) too!
From music by Dutch artists during boarding and disembarking to orange roses by Frederique’s Choice in our inflight shopping assortment - everything will be themed Holland!
And of course we’ll indulge you with typical Dutch treats such as little meat balls, Bossche bollen (a sinful chocolate and cream dessert), and more.
If you haven’t sampled the cuisine of the Netherlands yet, let our new chef Onno Kokmeijer of Restaurant Ciel Bleu (of Amsterdam’s Okura hotel) surprise you.
On longer flights, you can choose a meal with beef from De Vrije Koe – a foundation that is committed to bringing ‘Blaarkop’ cows back to Holland’s meadows. Happily grazing near Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, these cows are given time to live and grow at their own natural pace.
In Economy Class, you can also admire some of Holland’s famous old paintings while you enjoy your meal.
