Fly with KLM to Ålesund (Norway)
On 4 April 2013 KLM will add the seventh destination to its network in Norway. Ålesund is located on the Norwegian coast where oil, gas and shipbuilding are becoming increasingly important industries in and around the city. Ålesund has less than 50,000 inhabitants but features an impressive range of conference and hotel facilities.
The city is renowned for its Art Nouveau style architecture, the high peaks of the Sunnmøre Alps and its surrounding fields. Both the Geirangerfjord and the city centre have been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
