Three new destinations
KLM and Air France continue to expand their flight network, including with additional destinations in Africa. Starting March 27, for example, you will be able to travel to Luanda in Angola, and from 15 May we will be offering direct flights from Schiphol to Lusaka (Zambia). Air France will also soon start direct flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Wuhan in central China, making it the first airline to offer direct flights from Europe to this up and coming metropolis. Good to know: Schiphol – Starting on 25 March, the service from Schiphol to Miami will be operated by Delta Air Lines with one intermediary stop.

Check in your own baggage
Prefer checking yourself in at the airport? Then you may also like to check in your baggage when travelling with KLM or one of our SkyTeam partners via the special Self-Service Baggage Drop-off Units at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The number of these drop-off points has been increased from six to 12, allowing you to check in your luggage even more quickly.
Name change information
If you receive your ticket and discover that you misspelled your name when booking, make sure you report the name change to your travel agent or KLM Service Centre. This will prevent any delays with customs or check-in. Name changes are subject to a € 50 fee.
