KLM Holiday Deals is a trade name of KLM.

    Car rental

When booking a package deal including a rental car, you must have a credit card in the name of the primary driver and a valid driver’s license.

    A rental car includes:

    • Unlimited kilometres
    • Partial damage (CDW) and theft (TP) coverage *

When picking up your car, you can add the following to your car rental booking:

    • Extra accessories, such as GPS or a child’s seat
    • Additional fees for an extra or a young driver
    • Insurance, such as Super CDW/TP

Be sure you bring your credit card while picking up the car as a surety.

    * A policy excess for damage or theft can be reduced or purchased in situ (at most destinations). The excess varies per destination and car group. Policy excess does not apply in the USA and South Africa.

We recommend checking in advance whether the pick-up point is open at your time of arrival.

    KLM Holiday Deals

The following conditions have been set by KLM Holiday Deals without consultation with the ANVR and the Consumers’ Association within the framework of the Self-Regulation Coordination Group (Coördinatiegroep Zelfreguleringsoverleg) of the Social and Economic Council. Except for the permissible deviations as intended in Article 1 point 4, these conditions do not devalue the ANVR travel conditions and are solely intended to further strengthen the position of consumers.

    Conditions for special fares

The standard conditions of KLM Holiday Deals do not apply to tickets sold on the basis of special fare prices.

    Booking

KLM Holiday Deals can be exclusively booked online, and Holiday Deals return tickets can only be booked departing from Amsterdam (NL). The departure and return flights must be chosen in advance during the booking process. It is not possible to combine multiple destinations in one package deal.

    Travel documents

Every country applies its own regulations for visitors with different nationalities. In some countries your passport may need to have a minimum validity of six months after returning to the Netherlands, while other countries may require a visa. These visas can be requested from the embassy of the country involved, or sometimes be purchased upon arrival at your destination. KLM Holiday Deals emphasises that it is your responsibility to arrange the correct travel documents. Click here for more information and make inquiries at the embassy involved.

    Preparation

Vaccinations or other precautionary measures are often required or recommended when travelling to (sub)tropical destinations. These usually have to be taken a certain time before your departure. Make sure that you make the necessary inquiries well in advance, for instance by going to one of the KLM Travel Clinics. (Dutch only)

    Payment

The total travel costs are immediately due when booking a KLM Holiday Deals package deal. After successfully completing your booking and paying the total costs, you will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail. Taxes and surcharges

The KLM Holiday Deals fares include all surcharges and taxes as well as a booking fee of € 10 per person. The only exception is local tourist taxes, which must be paid at your destination.

If you wish to pay by credit card you will be charged an extra fee (see above).

    Changes

Strict conditions apply to changing a KLM Holiday Deal. Changes are not allowed if your package deal includes a flight ticket in the V or N booking class. For changes in all other booking classes you will be charged a fee of € 75. Changing your route is not allowed.
