Can I change or cancel my ticket?

Whether or not you can change your ticket is dependent on the fare conditions to which the ticket is subject. These conditions are determined by the fare group of the ticket, which you can find on your booking confirmation. Before attempting to change or cancel your ticket, we kindly request that you first check the fare conditions. 

In case of cancellations KLM charges EUR 15 when the ticket was issued for a non-refundable fare. The conditions are the same for e-tickets and paper tickets. 

The airport taxes which are not used, can be refunded. The fuel surcharges mentioned with taxcode YR/YQ remain non refundable in case a non refundable ticket was issued.

Refund may be applied for upto 13 months after original date of ticketissue.

How does it work?

Making changes/cancellations online

  • Making changes or cancelling tickets is currently possible with e-tickets for 
    flights booked at Europe Select, World Business Class, Economy Full Flex and Fully 
    Flexible Corporate fares via KLM.com. These tickets can be changed or cancelled up 
    tot 30 hours prior to departure via 'My Booking' on KLM.nl.     

Other ways to change/cancel your ticket

  • To change or cancel other ticket fares or paper tickets booked on KLM.com, 
    please contact the KLM Service Center.
  • To change or cancel tickets booked via a travel agent, please contact the relevant travel agent. 
  • To change or cancel tickets booked by telephone, please contact the KLM Reservations department on +31 (0) 20 – 4 747 747.
