Strike at Brussels Swissport 14 May 2013 & 15 May 2013
On Brussels Swissport the baggage handler is closed due to a strike. This strike has effect on Delta Airlines flights on Tuesday 14 May and Wednesday 15 May, 2013 from Brussels Swissport to Hartsfield- Jackson and John F. Kennedy Airport. Therefore we offer you the following rebook options and conditions when you have a ticket to these destinations on Tuesday 14 May and Wednesday 15 May, 2013.
1. Change of travel dates
The following conditions apply:
- You may change 1 outbound journey and 1 inbound journey on KLM, AIR FRANCE and/or Delta Air Lines flights free of charge.
- If your journey is to or from Brussels Swissport your new departure date should be no later than Sunday, 19 May 2013, the original duration of stay remains unchanged.
- Penalties and change fees do not apply.
- Re-booking is possible on flights until Sunday, 19 May 2013 only if seats are available in the same cabin class as stated in the original ticket.
- If only a higher cabin class than the one stated in the original ticket is available on flights until Sunday, 19 May 2013, than the difference in fare will be charged when rebooking. You do not have to pay a change fee.
- If your journey is to or from Brussels Swissport rebooking must be done at the latest on Sunday, 19 May 2013.
2. Change of destination
You may use the full value of your original tickets to buy new tickets of the same or a higher KLM, AIR FRANCE and/or Delta Air Lines fare.
- Penalties and change fees do not apply
- If your journey is to or from Brussels Swissport re-issuing must be done at the latest on Sunday, 19 May 2013.
3. Refunds
You are entitled to a full refund of your ticket if:
- Your flight is to or from Brussels Swissport, Tuesday 14 May and Wednesday 15 May, 2013 or your flight was cancelled by KLM, AIR FRANCE and/or Delta Air Lines, or your flight was delayed for more than 3 hours and you did not travel.
If you bought your ticket via KLM.com, a KLM ticket office or KLM Telephone Reservations, and your ticket number starts with 074, you can apply for a refund by filling out our online refund form. This will avoid long waiting times at our sales and service centers. If you booked via a travel agent, you should contact them directly.

Kennedy Airport. Therefore we offer you the following rebook options and conditions when you have a ticket to these destinations on Thursday 16 May 2013.
