LUSAKA - ZAMBIA

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is launching a new service to to Lusaka in Zambia. Starting 15 May 2012, flight KL561 will depart from Schiphol on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 12:30 hrs, arriving in Lusaka the same day at 22:10 hrs. The return flight, KL562, will depart Lusaka at 23:55 hrs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights and arrive in Amsterdam at 09:55 hrs the next morning.
Zambia is experiencing strong growth, thanks to its vigorous mining industry. Moreover, this new destination for KLM will create a direct link between Zambia’s flourishing flower industry and the Netherlands, which is the largest junction in the worldwide flower industry. Zambia also offers a wide variety of tourist attractions. Tourism in Zambia is centred around the city of Livingstone, located on the banks of the Zambezi river and close to the famed Victoria Falls.

LUANDA – ANGOLA

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is launching a service to Luanda in Angola from 27th March 2012.
The flights will be operated in A330-200 twice a week.
Luanda is the capital and largest city of Angola, located on Angola's coast with the Atlantic Ocean.

RIO DE JANEIRO - BRAZIL

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines began operating 3 x weekly scheduled service to Rio de Janeiro on 1 November 2011. Rio de Janeiro is the second largest city of Brazil. It is the most visited city in the Southern hemisphere and known for its natural settings, carnival celebrations, samba, bossa nova, and balneario beaches such as Barra da Tijuca, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon.
The 2016 Summer Olympics will take place in Rio de Janeiro, which will mark the first time a South American city hosts the event. Rio's Maracanã Stadium will also host the final match for 2014 FIFA World Cup.
PUNTA CANA - DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

In October 2011 KLM launched two weekly flights to Punta Cana. Located on the south-eastern coast of the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana is renowned for its national parks, long beaches, deep blue sea and large coral reef – making it a wonderful destination for the European holidaymakers. The many resorts located in Punta Cana include spas, casinos, and an amazing selection of dining options, on-site weddings, kids' clubs and swimming pools. HAVANA - CUBA

XIAMEN - CHINA

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will began operating scheduled service to Xiamen International Airport in China on 27 March 2011. KLM is the first airline to offer direct flights between Xiamen and Europe.
Xiamen is the second-largest city in the province of Fujian and has a population of 3 million inhabitants. Owing partly to its favourable geographical location, Xiamen is undergoing rapid economic growth, attracting large international corporations. The city is also a tourist destination with interesting cultural and historical highlights.
AALBORG - DENMARK

From 27 March 2011, KL offers double daily Fokker 70 service to Aalborg (AAL) in Denmark. Aalborg is KLM’s third Danish destination, besides Billund and Copenhagen, and KLM is the first airline to offer a direct service between Aalborg and Amsterdam. Aalborg is located in the northern part of the country, called Nordjylland, which is known for its beautiful nature and beaches.
