Save time by using our convenient check-in machines
We offer three options at the airport to meet every traveler’s needs.

Check-in machines
Step 1
Insert your frequent flyer card, passport or credit card.
Step 2
Select your seat.
Step 3
Print your boarding pass.
Step 4
Deliver your hold luggage at the nearest baggage drop-off point and proceed to the gate.
Have you already checked in at home?
When you merely still need to print your boarding pass, you can also make use of the
check-in machines.
At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the check-in machines are available
throughout the entire day.
At other airports, the machines are available at least two hours prior to the departure of
the flight.
At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, exclusive check-in machines and baggage drop-off
points are found at rows 10 and 11 for the following passengers:
• Passengers traveling in KLM World Business Class or KLM Europe Select
• Platinum, Gold and Silver members of Flying Blue
• SkyTeam Elite- and Elite Plus members
Currently, check-in machines are available at the following airports: Amsterdam,
Athens, Copenhagen, London Heathrow, Manchester, Oslo, Vancouver, Vienna and all
destinations in the US.
Check-in desks
Obviously, we also always have KLM staff ready to assist you personally at our check-in desks. At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, it is possible to check in from 05h00 in the morning for all flights departing on that day. The check-in machines are available for checking in 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Lounge check-in
You may also check in in the comfort and quiet of our KLM Crown Lounges at Amsterdam
Airport Schiphol, Houston and Toronto. In addition, checking in is possible in all Northwest
WorldClub lounges and in the Air France lounge in terminal 2D at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
