Dear Customer,

If you are seeking the most competitive prices for KLM flights, you can find them at (klm.com).

If an Internet service of a travel agency based in Poland with its servers located on Polish territories offers you a KLM ticket price lower than that offered by www.klm.pl (klm.com) (the same flight, the same itinerary, the same class, on the same day) on the same day that you booked and purchased your ticket with www.klm.pl (klm.com) you are entitled to submit a claim by the Internet to KLM office in Poland to have the difference in price returned. 

Please remember that in order for your claim to be considered it needs to be submitted on the same day that you have booked and purchased your ticket at www.klm.pl (klm.com). Only the ticket prices offered at www.klm.pl (klm.com) and at the websites of travel agencies based in Poland and operating on servers located on Polish territories will be the subject of comparisons.

Terms of the Best Price Guarantee BPG KLM S.A. Branch in Poland

In order to receive a return of the difference in price of the ticket purchased via www.klm.pl (klm.com) and the KLM ticket price offered by a travel agency at its website (the ticket referring to the same flight, the same itinerary, the same class, on the same day) the return claim needs to fulfill the terms and conditions of the Best Price Guarantee listed hereby (further referred to as "BPG Terms") as well as it needs to be submitted according to the procedure of claims investigation presented below:

1. BPG refers only to KLM ticket prices offered by the Internet services operating on Polish servers lower than those offered by www.klm.pl (klm.com). Tickets in question should display accordance in regard to:

  • (a)the flight
  • (b)the itinerary
  • (c)the class
  • (d)and all the conditions of the purchased ticket.        

The offer of the lower price needs to refer to booking and purchase of the plane ticket on the same day as the ticket booked and purchased directly from the original KLM Internet service at www.klm.pl (klm.com). Only the purchaser of the ticket can be the claimant. The claim can only refer to the basic price not including the airport fares, taxes and a charge calculated on the plane ticket sale.
The compared prices need to refer to the same travel class (if the purchased ticket referred to economic class than the lower price ticket needs to refer to the same class, Europe Select, World Business Class including), identical fare conditions, the same length of stay (i.e. minimum/maximum length of stay), terms of changing the bookings, ticket returns, stopovers, open-jaws etc. 

2. The KLM tickets, which prices are compared to those offered by www.klm.pl (klm.com) need to be distributed and sold on the territory of the Republic of Poland via Internet services operating on servers located in Poland. The currency used in transactions needs to be Polish zloty. The lower price offered by the Internet service of a travel agency based in Polandneeds to be available for calculation into Polish zloty and also available for booking using the currency. Plane tickets offered by travel agencies based in Polandhowever not available for sale will not constitute a basis for claiming the return of the price difference.

3. BPG applies only to tickets purchased and invoiced with Polish billing address. Moreover, the lower price offered by a travel agency at its website needs to be available for purchase using Polish billing address.

4. All claims for the price difference return need to be submitted before 12.00 a.m. Greenwichtime (further referred to as 'GMT') on the same day as the ticket for a KLM flight was purchased.

5. The investigation of claims and comparison of prices is performed by KLM S.A. Branch in Poland. Therefore, KLM S.A. Branch in Polandneeds to possess a possibility to verify the existence of the lower price on the Internet, on websites other than www.klm.pl (klm.com) at the time of submitting the claim by the customer. For the above reasons the customer should comply with all the BPG terms. Any additional evidence presented by the customer/passenger will not be taken into account in considering claims for return of the price difference.

6. The claim shall be considered only if the claimant is the same person whose personal information is printed on the KLM ticket purchased at www.klm.pl (klm.com)

7. BPG applies only to flights serviced entirely by KLM or by its cooperant, Northwest Airlines which commence on the territory of the Republicof Poland.

8. KLM S.A. Branch in Polandwill not consider any claims for return of the price difference regarding tickets offered by websites and Internet services operating on servers other than Polish, particularly those offered by www.expedia.com.

Submitting the claim

1. The claim form is available at www.klm.pl (klm.com).In order to submit a claim you need to fill in all the required fields and press 'Submit'. 

2. To inform the customer/passenger about the results of the claim investigation, they shall be contacted via electronic mail by an employee of the Customer Service Department of KLM S.A. Branch in Polandbased in Warsaw, ul. Nowy Świat 64, 00-357 Warsaw. The mailing address which shall be used for the purpose of this correspondence shall be: alkawecka@airfrance.fr.  

3. KLM reserves for itself the right to deny the fulfillment of the customer’s/passenger’s claim if the customer/passenger will not comply with the following BPG Terms, in particular if they will provide KLM S.A. Branch in Poland with incomplete or imprecise data which KLM shall be unable to verify in specified time and extent. 

4. Claims for return of the price difference can only be submitted using the forms especially provided by KLM for this purpose as mentioned in section 1 of this point C. All claims need to be submitted via electronic mail. Claims submitted by phone, fax, traditional mail or in person in the office of KLM S.A. Branch in Polandshall not be considered. 

5. All customers’/passengers’ claims for return of the ticket price difference submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions presented hereby shall be considered within 24 (say: twenty four) hours if submitted on working days before Thursday of a given week and on the following Monday if submitted on Friday, Saturday ort Sunday. Responses shall be sent by electronic mail to the address indicated by the customer/passenger, in accordance with section 3 of this point C.

BPG does not apply to

  1. Unpublished prices, those unavailable to the public; i.e. prices including discounts granted to the clients of KLM S.A. Branch in Poland, child and infant fares, special prices for conference participants flights, wholesale prices and other discounted prices set on the basis of particular agreements between KLM S.A. Branch in Poland and its clients.   
  2. Package prices – for tickets sold as a part of package holidays. 
  3. Flight fares, in which the carrier and itinerary details remain unknown before the ticket purchase and other different lower prices. 
  4. Prices of KLM flights advertised in other media than the Internet.        

If the claim fulfills all the above mentioned BPG terms and conditions is properly submitted and positively considered by KLM S.A. Branch in Poland, the customer/passenger shall receive a return of a difference in the price of a ticket purchased by the customer at www.klm.pl (www.klm.com) and a lower price offered on the Internet by a travel agency based in Poland. The subject of the difference shall be provided to the customer/passenger within 28 (say: twenty-eight) days from the date of KLM’s positive consideration of the claim. The return of the difference in price shall constitute the sole and only compensation on behalf of the customer/passenger. 

The return shall have the form of MCO/MPD document – voucher. There shall not exist a possibility to receive the return in the form of cash or money transfer.
