Throughout 2014 you may notice that a lot of construction work is being done at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Although we try to limit the inconvenience, we do recommend arriving earlier before departure of your KLM or other flight.
New: when checking in on KLM.com, have your boarding pass sent to your Gmail address. It will automatically appear on your phone on your way to the airport.

On most European KLM flights booked on or after 1 October 2014, Flying Blue Ivory members will be able to check in a suitcase for EUR 7.50 per one way. Bringing hand baggage will still be free of charge. For European KLM flights to and from Italy (except to and from Florence, Bologna, Turin and Venice), Russia, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine you can continue to bring at least 1 piece of check-in baggage for free.

KLM now also has transavia.com as a partner in the Flying Blue programme. Good news for Flying Blue members: they can use their Miles to book transavia.com flights departing from Holland.
