Request a refund or compensation
For the USA only: if you booked a flight on KLM.us you can apply for a refund within 24 hours after booking (together with any paid option purchased at that time).
Please send an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org, and mention your name, flight number, date, booking code. Also use ‘Customer First Program’ in the subject line.
If you paid via PayPal, please send an e-mail to: email@example.com, and mention your name, ticket number and booking code. Please mention ‘PayPal’ in the subject line.
Please note: If you purchased your ticket from a travel agent, you should contact your travel agent. For tickets bought from an airline other than KLM, please contact that airline.

-Your flight was overbooked, but you checked in on time and you chose not to travel on an alternative flight.
Please note: If you request a refund, all flights in your booking will be cancelled. Handling your refund request may take up to 4 weeks. The refund will be made in the same currency and via the same form of payment as used for the purchase of your ticket.
