    What is BlueBiz?

    BlueBiz is the company loyalty programme from KLM. It offers companies the opportunity to earn Blue Credits on flights with KLM and participating partners.

    What are Blue Credits?

    Blue Credits are the currency of BlueBiz. Each Blue Credit is worth one unit of your local currency. So if your company is based in the European Union, each Blue Credit earned is worth one Euro. In some countries a Blue Credit represents the value of the currency in which tickets are sold.

    What can my company do with Blue Credits?

    You can use Blue Credits to book tickets in any class on any flight operated by KLM and participating partners. Bookings are made online by selecting Book Free Flights.

    How can my company earn Blue Credits?

    If you usually book business flights through a travel agent, ask your agent to mention your company’s BlueBiz number whenever they arrange business flights on KLM and participating partners. This information must be provided before the ticket is printed. For more details, please refer to our section for Travel Agents. 

    You can also earn Blue Credits by selecting Book & Earn Now. Simply include your company’s BlueBiz number and the Flying Blue membership number of the business traveller in the spaces provided whenever you make a reservation. 

    How many Blue Credits will my company earn on each booking?

    The number of Blue Credits your company earns depends on the booking class and the route flown. For a complete overview, please refer to our Earning Schedule. 

    Will my company earn Blue Credits on every business flight?

    Yes. Blue Credits are earned on all business tickets provided that:

    • a BlueBiz number has been inserted into the reservation prior to the ticket being printed 
    • the ticket is issued on KLM ticket stock (074) 
    • the airline is KLM or an eligible partner 
    • the booking is made in an eligible class

    Can other KLM company discounts be combined with the benefits of BlueBiz?

    BlueBiz is only for non-contracted companies. Any discounts offered to companies via a contract cannot be combined with the benefits of BlueBiz. For this reason, companies with a KLM contract are not permitted to register in BlueBiz.

    Can the benefits of BlueBiz and Flying Blue be combined?

    Yes! Your company can earn Blue Credits and your business travellers can earn Flying Blue Miles on the same flight.

    Can my company earn Blue Credits on non-KLM flights?

    Yes. Your company will earn Blue Credits on flights with KLM’s airline partners including Air France, Northwest Airlines and Kenya Airways, provided the ticket is issued on KLM ticket stock. 

    How long does it take for Blue Credits to be credited to my company’s account?

    Blue Credits will be added to your company’s account 6-8 weeks after the qualifying flight.

    How do I check my company’s BlueBiz Balance?

    After you have registered your company, you will receive a username, password and BlueBiz number. You can use these details to login and check your BlueBiz Balance.

    Does everyone in my company have access to BlueBiz?

    Everyone can access the general pages of BlueBiz including the Book & Earn Now option. However, only the BlueBiz contact person who established your company account has access to your company’s personal pages where it is possible to book free tickets.

    How can I change my company’s details?

    Your company’s BlueBiz contact person will have access to your company’s secure account management pages. This person has the authority to:

    • Access and modify your company profile 
    • Update or change the contact person’s information   

    Is it possible to buy a ticket by combining Blue Credits and cash?

    No. If you wish to buy a ticket with Blue Credits, there must be a sufficient balance in your company’s account to pay for the ticket in full.

    Is it possible to change or obtain a refund on a ticket that I booked with Blue Credits?

    Yes, providing the conditions of the ticket booking class allow you to do so. To change or obtain a refund on a ticket booked with Blue Credits, please contact the BlueBiz Service Desk.
