    Reservations

    You can arrange your car rental in just a few easy steps.

    2. 2Fill in the location and the dates.
    3. 3Sort the search results by price, category, size, number of seats, number of suitcases, or number of doors.
    4. 4Choose your rental car and fill in the details.
    5. 5Confirm the reservation.

    Your reservation number can be found on the confirmation page. Please save this information. You will always receive a confirmation by e-mail with all the information about your reservation. Reservations made at Avis are managed by our partner iSeatz.

    You can even rent a car for the same day. While a particular model cannot be guaranteed, the car rental company will do its best to meet your requirements as much as possible. When you pick up the car you can also request a particular model or accessories such as child seats or snow chains.

    Payment

    For online reservations you need a valid MasterCard, Visa or American Express credit card. Your credit card details are used to guarantee your reservation with iSeatz. KLM will not make any charge to your credit card. Your credit card details are sent to us via a secure server, which encrypts all personal and credit card information. No reservation charges need to be paid.

    holiday autos charges the amount to your credit card as soon as you have confirmed your reservation. Avis, however, only charges you when you come to pick up the rental car. Please bring along a valid credit card, valid identification and a valid driver’s licence.

    Modifying or cancelling a reservation

    You can modify or cancel your reservation at Avis without charge up to the point of pick-up. If you wish to change your reservation, you will need to cancel it first and then make a new reservation. Modifications can be made by logging in using your name and reservation code.

    You can modify or cancel your reservation at holiday autos through holiday autos’ customer service. You can e-mail or call us from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00h. and Saturday from 09:30 to 13:30h. In case of emergency, you can call the emergency number, which is stated in your reservation details.

    Terms and conditions

    You must be in possession of a valid driving licence for at least 1 year. The minimum age to rent a car varies by country. If your age prohibits you from renting a car at your destination, this will be indicated during the booking process.

    Extra costs are incurred if you drive the rental car in a country other than the one in which it is rented. Rental cars may not be brought into all countries. Contact the car rental company for more information.

    Insurance

    When renting a car from Avis you are automatically covered for third party liability. When picking up your rental car you can insure yourself additionally for damage, theft and personal injury, among other things.

    At holiday autos all the necessary insurances are included in the rental price. There is however, an own risk clause. All risk insurance can be booked in advance for EUR 3 per day.

    Returning the vehicle

    In many cases, you may drop off your car at a different rental office than the one you picked it up from. The car can also be returned to an office in another country. You can indicate this during the booking process. If it is not permitted to return the rental car elsewhere, this will be shown during the booking process.
