Self-service check-in machines	At least 2 hours before scheduled departure (in many cases earlier)	30 minutes (Europe) or 60 minutes (intercontinental) before scheduled departure	At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, check-in machines are available anytime on the day of departure.
Airport check-in desks/lounges	At least 2 hours before scheduled departure	30 minutes (Europe) or 60 minutes (intercontinental) before scheduled departure.*Exceptions to these times.
