Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport
A modern airport, Lyon St-Exupéry receives flights from about 30 countries and transports almost 8.5 million passengers a year - 60% of them on international flights. Often known by its former name, Satolas, the airport has excellent transport links to the city and Rhone valley. The airport is located 25 km (15 miles) south-east of Lyon.
There are newsagents, souvenir shops and attractive open-plan duty-free stores (magasins detaxées) with a wide range of products in Le Centre and in the departure lounges of all terminals. In Le Centre, visit Printemps for well-priced ready-to-wear fashions and accessories, L'Occitane for fragrances and Danael for watches and jewellery. Next door, L'Escale is the place to pick up Lyonnais food and drink specialities.

East & Drink
A wide choice of refreshments to suit different budgets is available in the airport's 18 bars, cafés and restaurants, located landside in the three-storey Le Centre building or airside in the terminals. Several are open from 5.45am to 9.30pm.
