Practical info Aalborg, Denmark

Getting around the city

Aalborg has a good bus system that covers most of the city centre. Rates and schedules are available from the main bus depot on JF Kennedys Plads. The city centre is also fairly easy to navigate on foot or by using the city's bicycle-sharing initiative, which charges a refundable deposit that is returned when the bike is stowed. Driving in Aalborg is fairly pleasant, and once you figure out the mildly confusing one-way streets it is easy to navigate. There is free short-term parking in most side streets, and commercial lots for longer stays.
