Brunch at the Foodhallen

In 2014, a former tram depot in Amsterdam Oud-West was transformed into the Foodhallen, an indoor food fair with dozens of food stands. Put together your own brunch with a variety of small dishes that you can enjoy on the spot. Treat your taste buds to a sushi roll from Meneer Tenaki, a steak sandwich at L’Entrecôte Mobile, a pizza at Pink Flamingo or a gourmet burger from The Butcher. The complex also houses a hotel, vintage boutiques and a cinema with 9 screening rooms.

A picnic in the Vondelpark

The Vondelpark is the beloved backyard of all Amsterdammers. In summer it is the perfect destination for a picnic. Shop for goodies at sustainable supermarket Marqt, or for even more convenience order a ready-made picnic basket. Remember to order the day before, pick up your basket at lunchroom B&B across from the park’s main entrance, find a sunny spot in the grass and indulge! The basket is filled with fresh buns and croissants, cold cuts, fruit salad, orange juice and a picnic blanket. Everything you need to relax!
