This year’s edition of ADE features a record-breaking number of 115 venues! There will be parties at traditional clubs, such as Paradiso and the Escape, but DJs will also be spinning their tunes at unique, industrial locations. Doka is one of the most edgy party venues. This temporary club is housed in the basement of the former Volkskrant building, once the home of one of the biggest Dutch newspapers. On 15 October, partygoers can dance to acid and techno, while 16 October is reserved for fans of jungle and dubstep.
Another unique location is Amsterdam Roest. During ADE, this former factory will host various parties in 2 storehouses, both decorated with graffiti and art. The evenings at Roest will offer much more than house, techno and dance. On 17 October, Roest’s electronic music programme will make room for an odd duckling: Klassiek in de Loods (classical music in the storehouse). For this evening, one of the storehouses will be transformed into a concert venue with lie-down spots. Recharge your batteries in a relaxed setting.
