If you think that Bangkok’s nightlife offers just bad karaoke and sleazy go-go bars, think again. The city boasts a large number of trendy clubs where Thai locals and tourists dance until the early hours every day of the week. The most famous discos are concentrated in 2 well-known streets, which makes for a convenient night out in Bangkok.
For a great night out in one of the best nightclubs in town, you just need to decide between Sukhumvit Road or Royal City Avenue. Both streets are lined with a number of trendy clubs. The BTS skytrain rides along the entire stretch of Sukhumvit, and taxis drive back and forth along the street known as ‘RCA’. All nightlife venues are easy to reach. Just make sure to swap your flip flops and shorts for shoes and a slightly more 'dressy’ outfit because every self-respecting nightclub has a dress code that demands at least shoes, a shirt and jeans.
