The Singapore Flyer is what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris: the place from where you have the best view of the city. This 165-metre-high Ferris wheel is the highest in the world. From the rainforest near the entrance you are guided to a panoramic view over Marina Bay and the nearby islands. This giant Ferris wheel is much more than a ride; it is a scenic flight over the city.
From the ground, the world’s highest Ferris wheel may seem less impressive than the Eiffel Tower or Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas Towers. But with its floor-to-ceiling glass gondolas, it offers unobstructed views throughout the entire ride, which lasts about 15 minutes. From the top of the wheel, Singapore’s signature blue taxis, the Kallang River and container ships in the harbour are reduced to miniatures. On a clear day you may see as far as Malaysia and the islands of Indonesia. This is the ride of a lifetime!
