The different areas of Bucharest
Follow Calea Victoriei, the oldest street in Bucharest. This will take you past some of the most famous attractions of the city, such as, Revolution Square, the striking concert hall Ateneul Român and Cantacuzino Castle. Lipscani is more intimate: this mediaeval quarter was once the main commercial area of Bucharest. Cobbled streets will lead you along charming boutiques and galleries. The district has a dynamic nightlife and is a good place to book your hotel.
