Transport to Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
The Charles de Gaulle Airport is located approximately 25 km to the northeast of Paris. For cost and time efficiency, the Réseau Express Régional (RER) metro line is a good option. The journey takes around 40 minutes, and you will need to purchase a metro ticket for Zone 6. You could also consider the Air France Bus, a shuttle service that leaves from certain major tourist hotspots, including the Arc de Triomphe. If you decide to use a taxi, bear in mind that costs will be quite high, and the journey takes around 60 minutes.
Transport to Paris Orly Airport (ORY)
Sitting just 13 km south of the city, Orly has connections with many public transport options. By rail, you can take the RER B, RER C, and Tramway 7, while bus and coach services offer multiple options: Le Bus Direct line 1 and 3, Orlybus, Bus 183, the Val d’Europe Airports Shuttle, and Bus 91.10. Depending on where you need to be picked up and the corresponding public transport options, keep in mind that hiring or pre-booking a taxi may be just as cost-effective.
