Together with our global network, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines offers flights from New York to destinations all over the world. More specifically, we fly to over 150 international destinations and offer favourable flight schedules; this means you spend less time waiting around at airports and more time enjoying your travels.
Transport to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
Situated roughly 20 km southeast of Lower Manhattan, the airport enjoys connections to the city via varied transport options. A good choice is the Airport Express Bus, which leaves from Port Authority Bus Terminal and Grand Central Terminal. Journeys take around 1 hour 10 minutes and leave every 15 to 30 minutes. The subway is another option, but as there is no direct route to the airport, it does potentially make the trip a complicated one. Of course, there is always the ubiquitous yellow cab, and if you don’t mind the significantly higher fares, it is by far the most flexible way to get to the airport.
Transport to LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
The closest to the Big Apple, LaGuardia Airport is just 13 km away from Manhattan and accessible by car, shared rides, taxi and public transit. The latter represents the cheapest option with Metropolitan Transport Authority buses offering connections to the airport, subway, and rail. You can take the Link Q70 SBS and M60 SBS buses from Queens, Manhattan, and other nearby areas to reach the airport. Otherwise, taxis are plentiful and easy to hire.
Transport to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
Situated about 24 km southwest of Manhattan on the New Jersey Turnpike, Newark Airport is convenient to get to by car, taxi or public transport. The most convenient option may be the AirTrain, depending on where you plan to leave from. Free from traffic conditions, it offers a simple, affordable, and efficient way to reach the airport. Besides hiring a car or taxi services, more affordable options include the Airport Express Bus, the NJ Transit/Express Bus, and various train lines.
