Are you interested in working in an international environment in which you cooperate closely with Air France? And, do you consider yourself a future-oriented procurement manager? Then our Procurement Development Programme will definitely be of interest to you! In the AIR FRANCE KLM Procurement organisation, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself as a procurement specialist and future-oriented procurement manager. You will complete three assignments in the Procurement organisation with your own responsibilities and targets.

What characterises the programme?

Development Program Procurement

In the two-year programme, you will manage three projects for different parts of the Procurement organisation. The projects have clear objectives and are diverse in nature. For example, some projects aim to align specifications between Air France and KLM, while others focus on interaction between the business and Procurement, or deal with the development of commodity strategies.

The complexity and difficulty of the projects increase over the two-year period. Naturally, your skills and knowledge will be actively developed through coaching and training modules. In a relatively short period of time, you will get to know the ins and outs of the AIR FRANCE KLM Procurement organisation, and have the opportunity to build your own network within the company. A mentor will be assigned to each candidate during the programme.

AIR FRANCE KLM Procurement

In 2008, the procurement organisation was centralised, establishing an integrated AIR FRANCE KLM Procurement organisation for the Group. The organisation is responsible for all procurement activities within the Group, except for new aircraft. There are ten procurement domains, each with their own scope. For example, procurement related to catering, marketing, maintenance and IT are assigned to different domains. In the course of the development programme, you will gain practical procurement knowledge of the different domains. You will also gain insight into procurement strategy and policy making through a close link with the CPO Office.
