There is always a reason why he or she absolutely deserves a surprise! Choose from 6 themes: Love, Celebrate, Holiday, Thanks, Kids or KLM goodies. If you write a personal note, we’ll gift wrap your present and our cabin crew will do the honours of presenting it.

You can surprise anyone who is flying on board of all KLM flights with a flight duration over 1,5 hours.

This way, you don’t have to walk around the airport carrying hand baggage filled with presents. You can place your order up to 3 calendar days before departure.

How KLM Wannagives works

KLM Wannagives shop is all about convenience. We deliver your gifts both on board a flight or to a home address. The choice is yours. Want to pay with Flying Blue Miles? No problem! Simply indicate your preferences during the ordering process.

Important: For KLM flights departing from Amsterdam, be sure to order at least 3 days before departure. For KLM flights to Amsterdam you can order up to 6 calendar days before departure.

Follow the steps below:

1.Select a gift and add it to the shopping bag.
2.Indicate whether you want to surprise your friend on board a flight or at home.
3.Select a person through your preferred social network or use the e-mail address of your friend/contact.
4.Write a personal message and enter your name. (It is not possible to send a gift anonymously)
5.On-board delivery: enter the flight number of the person you want to surprise, or his or her destination and departure date.
6.Select the payment method and pay for the order.
7.Home delivery: once your purchase is completed, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
8.On-board delivery: we will first check whether your favourite traveller will be on the scheduled flight. If so, you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail within 3 days. If not, we’ll e-mail you to confirm cancellation of your order. Please note that we will only charge you after we have verified that your friend is on board.

Payment options

Wherever you live or wherever your favourite traveller is going, KLM Wannagives offers easy online payment worldwide. All prices are shown in euros and include VAT (in case of home delivery). You can pay with iDEAL (Internet banking option is only available in the Netherlands and only for home delivery), various credit cards and Flying Blue Miles. You also earn Flying Blue Miles with your purchases (except when paying with Miles).

Your credit card details are sent to us through a secure server that encrypts all your personal and credit card information.

Please keep in mind that if the gift will be received on board, any additional import taxes and/or local taxes for your purchases may have to be paid at the destination. This depends on the destination and the total amount of your purchases.

Missed flight or delivery problems

On-board delivery

What happens if a person misses the flight or the gift was not delivered? If your friend has missed his or her flight or if the gift was not delivered while he or she was on board, the amount you paid will be reimbursed to your bank account. Please be aware that our cabin staff is unable to reimburse the amount paid during the flight.

Home delivery

If your friend did not receive the gift at his or her home address within 14 days, please contact us via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail.

Returns and refunds

Did the gift fail to meet expectations? You or the person who received the surprise can return it within 30 days. This is only possible if the product has not been used and the packaging has not been opened. The item must be returned in the original, undamaged packaging.

Once we have received the product, we will credit the purchase amount to your account within 30 days. However, you will be required to pay the delivery costs for returns.
