Arriving at the airport by bus or train
Make sure to collect all your baggage from the bus or train. When you arrive at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol or airport Paris-Charles de Gaulle, you can check in at the check-in desks for your connecting flight. There you can also drop off your check-in baggage.

How does it work?
Note: if the bus has an unexpected delay, we will change your booking free of charge. The driver is in direct contact with the airport.
1. Book a ticket on KLM.com. As point of departure or arrival, select Enschede (QYE), Hengelo (QYH), Apeldoorn (QYP), Nijmegen (QNQ), Arnhem (QAR), Maastricht (ZYT), Maastricht Airport (MST) or Eindhoven Airport (EIN).
2. Check the KLM Bus timetables below.
3. Check what you should bring, and what not.
4. Show the bus driver your ID and KLM ticket (this ticket needs to include your bus reservation).
5. Hop on the bus, sit back and relax.
6. Hop off at Schiphol airport and go to the check-in desk or baggage drop-off point. Or hop on the KLM Bus at Schiphol airport, in case you are travelling home and show your ID and KLM ticket (this ticket needs to include your bus reservation).
7. And of course, don’t forget to take your baggage when you get off the bus.Prepare for your bus trip
- Bring your ID and your KLM ticket (this ticket needs to include your bus reservation).
- Bring only the baggage you are allowed to take on board your flight.
- Bringing a separate children seat for the bus is not necessary.
- You may bring a (foldable) wheelchair. The bus is not equipped with one.
- Unfortunately, you may not bring pets, bicycles, tandems, ski sets and other kinds of special baggage on board the bus.
Did you book a KLM flight without a KLM Bus reservation?
Not a problem. If you want to add a KLM Bus reservation to your existing KLM ticket, just contact the KLM Customer Contact Centre or your travel agent. This is free of charge.
Good to know
Flying Blue members cannot earn Miles or XP (Experience Points) with a trip on the KLM Bus.

When booking your trip, you can select flights that are partly operated by Thalys. Pick up your train ticket by showing your KLM ticket and valid proof of identity at your departure station, from 2 hours prior to the train departure time.
On your train ticket, you’ll find the carriage number and reserved seat number. The carriage number can be found next to the entrance of the train carriage, or on the signs on the platform.

Please keep the following in mind:- Save your stamped train ticket, which serves as proof that you have completed the first part of your trip. If you continue by flight, you must be able to show your train ticket at the check-in desk at the airport in order to receive your boarding pass. If you have checked in online, you will still have to show your train ticket when dropping off your baggage.
- You may be subject to stricter security checks imposed by the Belgian government, so you are advised to go to the platform well in time.
- If you’re travelling with a child younger than 2 years of age who has his or her own booked seat, you will also need a train ticket for him/her.
Baggage
When travelling with the Thalys train, you may bring a maximum of 4 baggage items per person. This also applies if you purchased more baggage than the standard allowance stated on your ticket. Check how to drop off or pick up your baggage:

- If you have a Premium Thalys train ticket, you have access to the Thalys lounge at Brussels-Zuid/Midi railway station before departure of the Thalys train.
- If you’re a Flying Blue Elite Plus member and don’t have a Premium Thalys train ticket, you can pick up a voucher for the Thalys lounge at the Air France Air&Rail Terminal.

At the train station, the carriage number can be found next to the entrance of the train carriage, or on the signs on the platform.

You can reach the Air France KLM Air&Rail Terminal easiest via entrance “rue de France/Frankrijkstraat” of railway station Brussels-Zuid/Midi. From the entrance, it’s a 2-minute walk.

Pick up your ticket from 60 to 20 minutes before the train departure time if you would like to drop off your baggage. If you don’t want to drop off baggage, you can pick up the ticket at any time during the opening hours of the Air France service desk (from 06:15 until 21:30).
You can find the Air France service desk at airport Paris-Charles de Gaulle in the TGV-RER train station Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 2 on level 1 in Terminal 2. The station is between terminals 2C/2E and 2D/2F.

You can already drop off your baggage 1 day before departure at railway station Brussels-Zuid/Midi between 08:00 and 15:00. You can do this for all travellers in your group, if you can show everyone’s travel documents. This way, on the day of departure, you only have to pick up your boarding pass at the Air France KLM Air&Rail Terminal at railway station Brussels-Zuid/Midi. With this extra service, you can start your trip even more relaxed.
Unfortunately, this service is not possible if you:- Have a connecting flight at airport Paris-Orly
- Have a connecting flight that are operated by Delta Air Lines
- Stay in Paris longer than 24 hours
- Travel to Tel Aviv
- If you travel in Business Class or First Class, you have access to the Thalys lounge at Brussels-Zuid/Midi railway station before departure of the TGV train.
- If you’re a Flying Blue Elite Plus member and you don’t travel in Business Class or First Class, you can pick up a voucher for the Thalys lounge at the Air France Air&Rail Terminal.
From various railway stations in France you can travel to Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport by train, then continue your journey on an Air France or KLM flight to your destination.

Make sure to pick up your ticket at the TGV AIR desk in a SNCF train station. Show your flight ticket to receive a TGV AIR train ticket. If you’ve booked your journey online, a single ticket will give you access to your entire trip by rail and air. You can pick up your ticket by showing your trip summary or a form of identification.
Check-in- The check-in deadline is 30 minutes before your train’s departure time.
- You need to check in only once for your entire journey via Air & Rail.
- To check in your baggage, go to the check-in desk or baggage drop-off point as soon as you arrive at the airport.
Taking the train from your arrival airport
Upon arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, go to the TGV station to continue your journey. Next, you can pick up your train ticket at the TGV AIR desk.
