Keeping your profile safe

As of February 2018, after logging in to your KLM account or Flying Blue account, you will be asked to create a new password. This will replace either your current KLM password or your Flying Blue PIN code. We highly recommend changing it as soon as possible.

After logging in with your current password or PIN code, you will be asked to create a new one, which has to meet a couple of requirements:
✓ 8 to 12 characters
✓ At least 1 numeric character (0-9)
✓ At least 1 uppercase character (A-Z) and 1 lowercase character (a-z)
✓ In addition, the following characters are allowed: @ $ & + - / # _ ? !

Why a new password

Security and protection of your personal details are paramount to us. That’s why we are continuously looking for ways to keep your account even safer. By creating a more complex password, you’re helping us in doing so. Your user name, that is your Flying Blue number or e-mail address, will remain the same.

Please be aware that a request to change your password via e-mail will only be sent out through one of our validated KLM e-mail addresses:
