HARARE - ZIMBABWE
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines begins operating service to Harare on 29 October 2012. The Zimbabwean capital is served in combination with Lusaka, Zambia. Flight KL523 is operated with an Airbus A330-200 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing from Schiphol at 10.20 hrs and arriving in Harare on the same day at 21.25 hrs. The return leg of the circle trip has the same number, KL523, leaving Harare at 22.30 hrs the same day, with an intermediate landing in Lusaka. The flight arrives in Amsterdam the following morning at 10.20 hrs.
Zimbabwe is located in Southern Africa and is a strong growth market with a wide array of natural resources. In addition, Zimbabwe is a great tourist destination. The parks and nature reserves at the Mana Pools and Zambezi River are certainly worth a visit, while Lake Kariba, with its unique atmosphere, and the magnificent Victoria Falls are among the best-known attractions.
Ålesund is the 7th destination in Norway from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. From 04. April 2013 KLM flies twice a day ( Saturdays once a day) with a Fokker 70 to the city on the Geirangerfjord. The city of Ålesund is built entirely in Art Nouveau style and was named the most beautiful city in Norway.
It is located right at the entrance to the Geirangerfjord, which is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, a paradise for hiker, anglers and nature lovers. But it also attracts with museums and annual festivals such as the Ålesund theater festival, Ålesund Boat Festival and the Norwegian Gourmet Festival.
FUKUOKA - JAPAN
From 03. April 2013 KLM flies to Fukuoka in Japan.
Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays a Boeing 777-200 flies from Amsterdam to the largest city on the island of Kyushu. KLM is the only airline which flies non-stop from Europe to Fukuoka.
The port city is located in the southwest of Japan and is the economic hub of the Kyushu region with about 16 million inhabitants. Rich in cultural and historical sites, the destination is also interesting for tourists.
