Best Price Guarantee
Terms and Conditions
In order to qualify for a refund under this guarantee, the claim must satisfy all Terms and Conditions of the Best Price Guarantee (BPG) and be submitted in compliance with the claim processing procedures detailed below.
All claims must be made by midnight Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) of the same day on which the KLM ticket is purchased.
KLM and not the passenger submitting the claim must be able to verify the lower online published price at the time of claim and confirm that the lower price does not exist on klm.com. Other verification methods (ie: fax, phone or screen print image) are not valid
Best Price Guarantee is valid only for lower prices found online for the exact same flight, exact itinerary, exact booking class, found on the same day as the original klm.com online purchase. In this situation the total fare shall include all applicable taxes and surcharges except the credit card surcharge and booking fee.
Prices must be in the same cabin (World Business Class/ Select Class or Economy), and for the exact same flights that carry the same fare restrictions.
Tickets must be sold in the ITALY over the internet on klm.it. Best Price Guaranteee applies only to tickets purchased with a ITALY billing address.
In addition the website advertising the lower online fare must provide the capability to book with an Italian domain address, and must have equal fare value purchased on klm.it. Websites showing fares but not providing the capability to book them will not be considered applicable for a refund.
The Best Price Guarantee applies only to itineraries wholly operated and marketed by KLM and Kenya Airways.
Price differences higher than €5 will be granted. There is no limit to the amount of the claim. The tariff applicable for the price guarantee is inclusive of taxes and surcharges. A Travel Credit Voucher (TCV) for future travel in the amount of the price difference plus €50 will be issued for each ticket eligible under the guarantee. The TCV may not be altered by an agent of any carrier named herein. To make reservations using your TCV receipt, call a KLM Reservations office. TCV’s are redeemable for travel commencing within one year of the TCV issue date. Travel must be completed within one year of TCV redemption date or within the validity of applicable price rule used, whichever is most restrictive. Extensions will not be permitted. A TCV does not need to be presented at time of ticket issuance but retain your receipt for reference when booking your reservation. TCV’s will not be replaced for any reason. Purchased/auctioned TCV’s are subject to confiscation or voiding and travel will not be permitted. By redeeming the TCV, the individual named acknowledges the content of these Terms and Conditions and agrees to abide by them.
Claim form processing:
A claim submittal web form is available on klm.com at klm.it To submit this claim form, fill in all required fields and click 'Submit.' Someone from klm.it Customer Service will contact you via e-mail. We reserve the right to deny any claims that cannot be reasonably verified, or for which you have provided incomplete information. All claims must be made by midnight CET on the same day the original klm.com ticket is purchased. Claims may not be made through any other KLM form or phone number.
The Best Price Guarantee does not apply to: a.) Unpublished prices that are not available to the general public. Prices not available to the general public include, but are not limited to, corporate discount fares, military fares, meeting fares, wholesaler fares, and other discount fares. b.) Package fares. Airfares sold as part of a travel package. c.) Fares where the carrier or itinerary details are unknown until after purchase and other discount fares. d.) Differences of less than €5.
Other conditions: KLM reserves the right to terminate this offer at any time without notice.
