Austin is the state capital of Texas. The city was founded in 1835 under the name Waterloo and lies on the Colorado River. Austin is famous for being the "Live Music Capital of the World" and is also regarded as a centre for modern technologies. It has a lively city centre with numerous music venues, a thriving art scene, Formula 1 and it hosts the major festival South by Southwest. It is also home to several universities, including the main campus of the University of Texas.

KLM will operate flights between Schiphol and Austin from 4 May 2020 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. 

The flight schedule is as follows: KL0667 departs Schiphol at 12:40 hours and arrives at 16:10 local time in Austin (Austin-Bergstrom International Airport). 

KL0668 departs Austin at 18:00 hours local time and arrives at Schiphol the next day at 10:25 hours.

From 30th March 2020 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate a new direct flight between Amsterdam Schiphol and Cork. Located on an island between two canals of the River Lee, Cork is a charming cosmopolitan city known for its maritime history spanning over a thousand years. The beautiful coastal environment is a must for nature lovers and adventurers, whereas city dwellers will enjoy the laidback feel of Cork, with its many cool coffee bars, museums, pubs and art galleries. 

After Dublin, Cork is the second destination in Ireland as well as the 93rd destination in Europe that KLM services nonstop from Amsterdam Schiphol. KL1087 leaves Amsterdam Schiphol daily at 3:50 pm and arrives in Cork at 4:40 pm. Return flights will leave Cork at 5:10 pm with arrival in Amsterdam at 8:00 pm. The daily flights will be operated with an Embraer 175 and Embraer 190, with a total of 88 to 100 seats per flight.

From 30 October 2019 until 28 March 2020, KLM will begin operating flights between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Bangalore.

Situated in the South of India, Bangalore is one of the most developed cities in the country, known for its high-tech industry. From its rich history and diverse culture, to its upbeat and lively nightlife, Bangalore has developed into a contemporary metropolis lingering with traditional charm. With many vibrant parks, the garden city has much to offer.

KLM will operate three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a Boeing 787-9. The flights will depart from Amsterdam at 11:05 and arrive at Bangalore at 00:50. Return flights will leave Bangalore at 02:45 and arrive in Amsterdam at 08:25.

From 27 October 2019, KLM will begin operating a circle flight between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, San Jose and Liberia.

Liberia, known as ‘la ciudad blanca’ which means ‘the white city’ is one of Costa Rica’s oldest towns. The city was recognised for its historic presence of white stained colonial houses and white gravel streets. Discover the beautiful coastlines, neighbouring islands and pristine white sand beaches that nestle Guanacaste; the region’s stunning rainforest backdrop is filled with hidden waterfalls and majestic volcanoes.

KLM will operate on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The flights will depart Amsterdam at 12:30 and arrive at San Jose at 17:15. The flight will depart San Jose at 18:45 and arrive at Liberia at 19:40. Return flights will leave Liberia at 20:45 and arrive in Amsterdam at 13:55+1.

New Destination 2019 Wroclaw
From 6 June 2019, KLM will begin operating flights between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Wroclaw. KLM will operate daily to Wroclaw with an Embraer 175.

Nestled on the Oder River in Western Poland, the city is recognised for its gothic town hall and elegant townhouses that mantle the famous market square, Rynek. Whilst its historic architecture suggest otherwise, Wroclaw is a modern and vibrant cultural metropolis with a bustling nightlife and a large student community

The flights will depart from Amsterdam at 11:50 and arrive at Wroclaw at 13:35. Return flights will leave Wroclaw at 14:05 and arrive in Amsterdam at 15:55.

Las Vegas, USA

Las Vegas City

From 6 June until 26 October 2019, KLM will begin operating flights between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Las Vegas. Situated in the desert in the U.S state of Nevada, Las Vegas is famous for its dazzling nightlife, centred around 24/7 casinos and endless entertainment. Surrounded by majestic hotels and impressive skyscrapers.

KLM will fly weekly on Thursdays and Sundays with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. From 2 July 2019, an additional weekly flight will be operated on Tuesdays. 

The flights will depart from Amsterdam at 12:30 and arrive in Las Vegas at 14:15. 

Return flights will leave Las Vegas at 16:05 and arrive in Amsterdam at 11:05 (+1).

United States, Boston, architecture

From 31 March 2019, KLM will begin operating flights between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Boston. 

Boston lies 300 kilometres north of New York and is the largest city in the state of Massachusetts. Renowned as the home of Harvard University, Boston is one of the oldest and richest cities in the United States. The city’s Museum of Fine Arts opened in 1876 and now boasts no fewer than 450,000 works of art, making it one of the world’s most comprehensive museums. 

KLM will fly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with an Airbus A330-300. From 1 July 2019, a fourth weekly flight will be operated on Mondays. 

The flights will depart from Amsterdam at 17:00 and arrive in Boston at 18:30 (local time). 

Return flights will leave Boston at 22:00 and arrive in Amsterdam at 10:35 +1 (local time).

Code-Share: KLM-QANTAS

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Qantas, Australia’s national carrier, have signed a code-sharing agreement, allowing both airlines to expand their networks substantially. For KLM passengers, this means they can fly from anywhere in the world, on a single ticket, with full baggage transfers, via Singapore to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth.

The code-share begins on 31 October 2018. KLM will attach its flight number to daily flights between Singapore and the four key Australian destinations listed above. Qantas will attach its “QF” code to KLM flights between Amsterdam and Singapore.

From the 14th May 2018 KLM will launch a new scheduled service to Växjö, Sweden.

Växjö is a vibrant city in Smäland. You can enjoy its beautiful nature reserves any time of the year. Amongst the highlights of the city we can mention the glass museum, packed with gorgeous works of art and plenty of history as well as its waterfront parklands, historic church and several award-winning culinary eating-houses.

KLM flights (Operated by Cityhopper) will fly daily to Växjö with an Embraer 175. Departing from Amsterdam at 12:00 and arriving in Växjö at 13:35.
An extra flight will also operate the weekends until 02nd July 2018.

From the 3rd May 2018 KLM will launch a new scheduled service to Fortaleza, Brazil.

Fortaleza is the state capital of Ceará, an important industrial and commercial centre and the third richest metropolitan area in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. It’s also an attractive area for tourist who will discover the wonderful beaches, the rolling dunes, the fishing villages and the party atmosphere.

KLM will fly twice a week to Fortaleza, departing Thursday and Saturday. The flight will leave Amsterdam Schiphol at 12:50 (local time) and will arrive in Fortaleza at 17.20 (local time). Return flights will depart from Fortaleza at 19:50 (local time) arriving in Amsterdam Schiphol at 10:00 +1(local time). As of 2nd July 2018 a third flight operating on Monday will be added.
