As from 1 June 2021, Covid-19 test policy changes for travelling to or via Amsterdam from Turkey.

Passengers travelling to the Netherlands from Turkey and any high-risk area (which is any country/region that is not on the list of safe countries/regions found at: ) are required to:

1. Hold a printed or digital negative Covid-19 NAAT test result (which includes PCR, mPOCT, NAAT, RT-PCR, RT-LAMP and TMA test) in English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian or Portuguese. Test must be taken within 72 hours before arrival in the Netherlands.
The test result must contain the first and last name of the passenger as stated on their passports and it must state the date and time when the test was conducted.

2. Fill in a Health Declaration form. An example of the form can be found online here.
A paper form is not required for passengers travelling to or from Amsterdam. Passengers can submit the form online .

3. Quarantine is no longer mandatory. Customers are advised to quarantine for 10 days after their arrival in the Netherlands.

Transit passengers are exempt from the requirement to hold a negative Covid-19 NAAT or rapid antigen test result before their arrival in The Netherlands. They only need to fill in the Health Declaration form .

Please note that for all test results the validity should be counted from the moment the sample is collected.

In order to facilitate customers travelling to the Netherlands, IGA Istanbul New Airport offers a Rapid test facility as follows:
1. The facility is offered indoors and is located at the Arrivals level, exit gate number 14.
2. Opening hours: 24/7
3. Cost: Antigen Rapid Test, currently at 175 TRL. PCR Test, currently at 250 TRL
4. Payment with cash or credit card.
5. Test Results: A test outcome certificate in English will be handed over to the customers concerned. Upon testing passengers will be advised on the available options to get this certificate well prior their check in process.
6. Tests for departing passengers: Passengers must be aware of potential flow sequence issues in case many people would need to be tested at the airport within a short time interval therefore, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 4 hours prior to their planned departure in order to ensure smooth flow and to get the test certificate on time.
