KLM operates the flights to and from Taiwan, trying our utmost to provide convenience to our customers.

As of 3rd June 2021, we are delighted to offer new travel options between Taipei and Bangkok on the route of Amsterdam-Bangkok-Taipei.

KLM latest scheduled flights and immigration information

Currently, we offer 3 weekly flights between Taipei, Bangkok and Amsterdam. We are ready to take you to reconnect with the world, safely!

**For KL843 on Fridays and KL844 on Saturdays, the stopover at Bangkok will be a technique stop without passengers embarking or disembarking. 

For KL843 on Wednesdays / Sundays, there might be passengers getting on board or disembarking at Bangkok. For KL844 on Mondays / Thursdays, passengers may disembark but not embark at Bangkok.

Preparation needed TO Amsterdam from Taiwan:

Policy adjustment (as from 8th August 2021)
As from 8th August 2021, all travelers from outside Europe to the Netherlands are required to present one of below certificates, upon arrival in the Netherlands:
Option 1: Negative Covid test result (PCR test result within 48 hours OR rapid antigen test within 24 hours before departure)
Option 2: Proof of vaccination
• Please visit the official website of the Netherlands government for detailed checklist for entering the Netherlands  and requirements of proof of vaccination. 
• Taiwanese passport holders are visa exempt for a short stay in the Netherlands.
• If passengers still need Rapid Antigen test (depending on travel requirements of final destination), please find below information where KLM customers can take the test before departure from Taoyuan Airport. ONLY with reservation in advance at the official website ofLandseed Medical Clinic at Taoyuan Airport .

Preparation needed TO Taipei:

Important notice: all passengers arriving or transiting in Taiwan must obtain RT-PCR test result

• According to new regulations implemented by Taiwan authorities, as of December 1st 2020, all passengers who arrive or transit in Taiwan are required to present a Covid -19 RT-PCR test negative result report issued within 3 working days before scheduled departure to board the aircraft. Please refer to FAQs page on the website of Taiwan Center for Disease Control  for details.
• Prior to boarding, all passengers must complete the “Quarantine System for Entry Form” via personal mobile device at https://hdhq.mohw.gov.tw/  
• For detailed local regulations of entering Taiwan, please refer to the site of Ministry for the Interior National Immigration Agency (Taiwan): https://www.immigration.gov.tw/5475/5478/6928/6940/212474/271241/ 
• Take your own mask with you and wear it throughout the trip.

Special notice for travelers bounding for Chinese Mainland

Enforcement of 1 single ticket rule for Air France KLM passengers travelling to Chinese Mainland as from 22nd March 2021

In view of the current sanitary situation and the regulations for passengers flying to Chinese Mainland (PCR and IgM tests mandatory at Departure and Transit Airports), KLM has decided to strictly enforce 1 ticket rule for passengers flying to Chinese Mainland when traveling via our Hub at Amsterdam Schiphol (SPL) airport.

As from 22nd March 2021, any KLM passenger flying to Chinese Mainland via Amsterdam Schiphol (SPL) with separate tickets will not be able to travel and will be stopped at the first KLM touchpoint.

If your itinerary has more than one flight, please contact your Ticketing agency or KLM Call Center before traveling to ensure you are holding one ticket for your full itinerary to Chinese Mainland. If you are holding two separate tickets for your trip to China, please ask your ticketing Agency or KLM Call Center to modify your two tickets to one ticket. Modifications are subject to ticket conditions.
