Requirements to become a Gold member
You become a Gold member when you have reached one of the following thresholds within 1 calendar year:
You have earned 40,000 Level Miles (60,000 in France and Monaco) on flights with one of the SkyTeam partners.
You have made 30 qualifying flights with one of the SkyTeam partners.
Please note: a return flight counts as 2 qualifying flights!
Which threshold you reach first depends on your travel behaviour. When you make a lot of short trips, the 30 qualifying flights could be yours in no time. But when your destinations are further away, you might very soon earn enough Level Miles to become a Gold member and be able to enjoy the benefits!

Good to know
Maintaining your current membership level, or even upgrading to the next one, is now easier than ever. With Carry over Level Miles, every Level Mile you earn above the minimum number required to maintain your current level will be carried over to the next year. That way, your Miles balance doesn’t start at zero on 1 January, but kicks off to a good start!
