Golf bag

A golf bag is counted as a regular piece of checked baggage that can be brought within your baggage allowance. Suppose your allowance is 2 pieces of checked baggage. In this case, you can bring 1 checked bag and your golf bag. If your allowance is 1 piece, you must buy an extra baggage allowance to carry a checked bag and your golf bag.

Flying Blue Golf Club members can check in a golf bag free of charge on presentation of a voucher at check-in.

Bicycle/tandem

Bicycles and tandems are considered special baggage and are charged accordingly. These items cannot be brought instead of a checked bag as part of the standard allowance.

Surfboard

You can bring your surfing equipment instead of an item of checked baggage. The above fees apply if you bring it in addition to your standard allowance. An extra fee may apply on flights to or from Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Depending on your type of surfing, the equipment may consist of:

  • Surfing equipment: a (wave, boogie, or body) surfboard packed in a surfboard bag
  • Windsurfing equipment: a board, mast, sail, and boom packed together in a quiver bag
  • Kitesurfing equipment: a board and a kite packed in a kite bag

If the bag is longer than 107 cm (42 in), you need to make a reservation for the transport.

You can bring your pet in the cabin or in the hold. The pet and its kennel may weigh a maximum of 8 kg in the cabin. In the hold, a pet and its kennel may weigh up to 75 kg. Please make a reservation in advance. Below, you will find the fees that apply.
